Request Teleconferenced Virtual Visit

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we are offering selected programs via ZOOM or Google hangout.  Please provide additional information below if you have a video conferencing preference.

We STRONGLY advise that your group arrive at the Museum at least 15 minutes prior to your program's scheduled start time. If you are scheduled for a 10:00 am program you should plan to arrive at the Museum no later than 9:45 am. Scheduling limitations do not allow extending program time to groups that arrive late.

Lunchroom Information

Seating is available for those groups that register to bring lunches and eat them on the premises. Reserved seating is available Monday through Friday from 11:00am to 1:00pm. A half hour slot will be assigned to your group according to the start of your scheduled tour.

Transportation Information

Parking for buses is free, but located offsite. Group members traveling separately in individual vehicles must park in one of the fee-based visitor lots adjacent to the Museum.

The Museum and its staff will make all reasonable efforts to accommodate students or groups with special needs. If your group or any of its students require any special accommodations, please describe them below.

Additional Scheduling Information

If your group is scheduled for tours or events elsewhere in the Empire State complex for that day, please list times and locations. Also, if you have any additional information to share that will enable our staff to better assist you, please include that here.

INDEMNIFICATION: The visiting school group agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the New York State Education Department and the Office of General Services, it's offices, employees, and staff working on its behalf, from any and all claims, actions, suits, costs, damages and liabilities resulting from the use of State Museum or Office of General Services facilities, negligent actions, or omissions or willful misconduct, of the participants in the group, employees and staff.
